David MacNeil wins Sons of Scotland

David MacNeil won the Grade 2 piping aggregate at the Sons of Scotland Highland Games on June 15, 2008. David placed first in the March and the Jig events. David also placed second in the Strathspey and Reel. David has now regained the lead in the BCPA Grand Aggregate.

John Lee and Tim Byron tied for the Grade 1 aggregate each picking up a first and a second. Myles Stewart placed third in the Hornpipe & Jig and sixth in the March. John Lee continues to hold onto the Grand Aggregate lead.

Jori Chisholm won the Professional Piping aggregate. Jori won both the Hornpipe & Jig and Strathspey & Reel events. Andrew Bonar won the March event and placed third in the Hornpipe & Jig and third in the Strathspey & Reel. Andrew Bonar has moved into the BCPA Grand Aggregate lead.
